ROOKIES:
RENDEZVOUS
ROOKIES: NO TURNING BACK

Written and Illustrated by Pablo
Hidalgo
From February to June 2006,
Pablo Hidalgo, who then serves as internet content manager for Lucas
Online, as well as a writer of web-comics for the official
Starwars.com website, began publishing original fiction set in the
year after the Battle of Yavin (known as the Era of Rebellion).
Called Rookies: Rendezvous, it was well-received by fans, and
later followed up by the sequel Rookies: No Turning Back from
June 26 2006 to October 16, 2006. The latter story adapted a short
piece of fiction by Curtis Smith, called "Rebel Breakout," which
appeared in the book
Star Wars: The Roleplaying Game,
published by West End Games in 1987.
Rookies was intended to
be concluded in a third strip, called Rookies: Day Long
Remembered. It was never released.
The following occur in the
7-12 months after the Battle of Yavin |
